Paul has a diverse background in asset based lending. He joined Investec ABL from Henry Butcher International Ltd where he has spent the last few years developing new asset based lending products. Paul was instrumental in launching their new inventory appraisal model and has advised various UK/USA banks on complex pan-European transactions involving all assets. Prior to working at Henry Butcher, Paul spent six years with The Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services where has was a Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for the large corporate book in London. Paul’s focus in Investec ABL is portfolio management.

James has spent the last 20 years in the asset based lending sector in both operational and business development roles. He joins Investec ABL from Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance where he held various senior roles, latterly as Regional Director leading the origination team in the South. James played an instrumental role in driving the increased use of full asset based lending as a debt instrument for MBO/MBI and M&A transactions. He has also been involved in numerous complex, mid-market refinancing transactions. James’s focus is on deal origination and execution.

Gary heads up Investec ABL. Prior to joining Investec in October 2005 Gary worked at GE. Gary joined GE in 1997 to develop its strategic entry into Commercial Finance in Europe. As Managing Director, he was responsible for starting the successful greenfield UK invoice discounting and asset based lending business in 1998 before his appointment as Chief Operating Officer of GE Commercial Finance Europe. Prior to working at GE, Gary was a Director with Barclays Commercial Services.

She joined Investec from the West End Group in May 2007 where she was the Company PA and Human Resources Coordinator for the business.
