Joanna joined the team 2005 as an internal banker. Previously she worked at Wigmore Investments and Reuters. She has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Nottingham Business School.

He is responsible for the team's investments in CliniSys and Aerial. John joined the team in 2005, having been a Partner at corporate finance boutique Livingstone Guarantee. John qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Ed Cottrell T: +44 (0) 20 7597 5187 F: +44 (0) 20 7597 4195 E:ed.cottrell@investec.co.uk	Ed is responsible for origination, structuring, execution and the ongoing monitoring of investments. He has led Investec’s involvement in numerous investments including Reach, Plastics Capital, Catalyst, and Design Objectives. He joined the team in 2003. Previously he worked for Investec’s Corporate Finance team and in Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch in the Emerging Markets and Financial Institutions teams in London. Ed is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Avron has extensive experience in providing structured debt finance and equity funding for SME’s, as well as working with entrepreneurs in supporting their businesses. He joined Investec London in 1998 in the Investment Banking division. In 2000 Avron was seconded to Investec in Israel where he was Deputy General Manager and Head of the Investment Banking division. Upon returning to London in 2002 he joined the Private Bank. Avron has a BA in Economics and Business Administration and an MBA from the Recanati School of Business at the Tel Aviv University.
