Basson wins the Investec Royal Swazi Sun Open

Christiaan Basson, sponsored by Investec Property, won the Investec Royal Swazi Open on Saturday 5th May 2012.

“This is great – I can’t tell you how much it means to me. I was so relieved when I sunk that last putt.  “I had a very enjoyable day,” said Basson.  I’m ecstatic to have won in Swaziland. I signed with Investec Property after this tournament last year, so winning here is first prize,” he said.

Christiaan made no less than 10 points during each of his four rounds, the best of which was a superb 17 point second round.  All was enough to earn a one-point victory over the other players.

Investec Property is proud to be into its third year of sponsorship of this great tournament which was held at the Royal Swazi Sun Country Club from 2nd – 5th May 2012.
