Integrated finance for mid-market companies seeking over $A3 million

We offer integrated debt and equity solutions for management teams and business owners for:

  • Balance sheet finance
  • Management buy-outs and buy-ins
  • Organic or acquisition growth strategies
  • Shareholder restructuring and equity release
  • Succession planning

Our finance offer is based on enterprise or business value. We look at your business earnings or cash flow - not necessarily only tangible asset security. As a result, you will receive a more flexible form of finance.

Partnership opportunities

Our teams in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane work collaboratively with you to assess the experience of your management team and the stability of your cash flow to determine your competitive advantages.

We will leverage our extensive business network - as well as other areas of Investec. You may benefit from advice on acquisition opportunities, trade sales or market listings. We can also provide entrepreneurial or strategic input to enhance the value of your enterprise.

Funding through preferred equity

We also fund an equity shortfall in a transaction through a higher-yielding facility with a warrant. This type of financing is an effective way for management to increase equity returns. It lowers your contribution to equity, and so lowers the overall cost of capital.

Our return is achieved through a combination of cash interest, rolled-up interest, exit fees and warrants.
