How do we calculate the rate?

• The Investec High 5 Account always pays you the average of the five highest savings rates published on the Moneyfacts² website
   
• The High 5 rate is updated on a weekly basis - the latest rate and component accounts can be seen in the table below
   
• You can rest assured that the rate you are earning is amongst the highest available, week-in and week-out
   
• This is a three month notice account.
   
• The minimum balance required to open and operate the account is £25,000. Balances below this minimum will not earn interest
   
• Interest on qualifying balances will be calculated daily and credited to your account monthly or annually. We can also remit your interest to another account in your name with any UK bank or building society without charge

The interest rates above are ‘gross’ rates with the exception of Investec High 5 Account which is ‘gross AER’.

You may cancel the account by writing to us within fourteen days of the date of our notification to you confirming that the account has been opened, without giving any reason and without paying any charges.

Deposits can be made by cheque, BACS transfer or CHAPS transfer. For deposits in non-Sterling currencies, deposits can be made by cheque or electronic transfer provided we accept deposits in that currency. Full details and clearing times are contained in paragraph 8 of our terms and conditions.
