Omnibus facility

The Omnibus is a facility granted to corporate entities by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) through authorised dealers, sanctioning the purchase of foreign exchange in excess of the prescribed personal limit.

As an authorised dealer, we may sanction the purchase of foreign exchange up to a maximum value of R2 million. We are able to authorise your applications for Omnibus foreign exchange facilities up to a maximum value of R2 million per calendar year*. This limit applies to corporate entities and does not include an individual’s personal annual limit for foreign exchange.

Should your needs exceed R2 million, we are able to apply on your behalf to the SARB. On request, we can provide an account of your foreign exchange expenditure with respect to cash and traveller’s cheques that have been bought and sold.
