The Alternative Investments team at Investec Private Client Securities manages portfolios which offer a range of differing risk return mandates, from the very conservative (alternative to cash) to the moderately aggressive.

The Opportunities Portfolio is a long-only share portfolio, which follows a high conviction mandate and attempts to identify equities which offer above average returns.
The High Growth Portfolio is an aggressive portfolio which attempts to achieve a significant return and has the capacity to use gearing (maximum 300%) and derivative instruments. It is likely to have above average volatility.
The Absolute Return Portfolio is low-risk (maximum 30% exposure to the market) and aims to achieve a consistent monthly return with low volatility.
