Hakan Hillerström, independent financial advisor, offers an insight on the importance of family governance and values. His most recent book 'Wise Wealth', co-authored with Joachim Schwass, Holger Kück and Colleen Lief, presents an excellent compass to wealth creation, management and preservation over generations.
Hakan Hillerström
Hakan Hillerström has been an independent financial advisor since 2003 providing Family Business and Family Office advisory services. He previously worked in his family's own business (shipping), for Banque Kleinwort Benson (private banking) and for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he created a European Family Business and Family Office Service. In addition, he was a founding member of the Genevest Consulting Group (venture capital).
Mr. Hillerström has an MBA from IMD Switzerland. In 1996 he created the European Family Business Seminar, which has been held six times in St-Moritz, with the collaboration of IMD. Mr. Hillerström is frequently asked to lecture on his experiences and knowledge in this area and is also the author of numerous articles that have appeared in financial and business magazines. Mr. Hillerström has also co-authored a book "Wise Wealth" published by Palgrave Macmillan in December 2010.
