The National Gardens Scheme

The Yellow Book 2014

In 2014 there will be over 3,800 gardens across England and Wales opening on behalf of The National Gardens Scheme. In the last 15 years the NGS has donated over £27 million to nursing and gardening charities.

The NGS is also delighted to be both Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie Cancer Care’s single biggest ever donor having donated £14.75m and £6.8m to each.

We're very proud that we have been able to play a small supporting role in the success of the NGS over the last 19 years. We hope that the sun shines this year and gives everyone a chance to show their gardens at their best and raise significant funds for the charities
Jonathan Wragg, Chief Executive of Investec Wealth & Investment

Support The Scheme

Founded in 1927, the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) helps to raise money for charities.

The National Gardens Scheme works with garden owners who welcome thousands of visitors around the UK into their gardens each year. Sponsored by Investec Wealth & Investment, the Yellow Book allows people to plan their visits and discover different gardens.

Investec Wealth & Investment, has sponsored the NGS since 1994 and in the last 15 years has donated over £27 million to nursing and gardening charities.

Our clients value the association we have with the NGS. They are sent a Yellow Book every year and are invited to attend Investec Wealth & Investment events held in NGS gardens.
