Based on that Investec structured the deal together with its long-term client Dr. Dietrich Schrapper, a serial entrepreneur in the healthcare services sector. All relevant documentation was prepared in order to approach potentially interested investors including preparation of presentations and modeling of the business plan. The transaction highlights Investecs expertise in the healthcare sector and strength in establishing attractive buy and build solutions.<\/p>\n<h2>About the deal<\/h2>\n<p>Investec advised Ufenau Capital Partners (UCP), a Swiss-based private equity fund investing in the services sector in German-speaking countries, on the acquisition of seven medical practices specialized in primary care, gastroenterology, and radiology. The project was initiated, developed and structured by Investec. Our Swiss Mergers Alliance Partner Affentranger Associates acted as exclusive local financial advisor to UCP throughout the investment process.<\/p>\n<p>The practices acquired are regrouped under a newly created company called Doktorhuus, which will be used to further consolidate the Swiss market. With its 70 highly qualified employees, Doktorhuus is an important regional outpatient service provider in the cantons of Aargau, Luzern, Bern, and Solothurn.
