We initiated one-on-one discussions with the German business owners, who were at first reluctant to engage in negotiations. We provided execution services and support, including valuation and structuring guidance, management of specific Franco-German issues, preliminary business reviews, drafting &amp; negotiation of letters of intent, monitoring due diligence (including selection and briefing of local DD providers), and assistance in the final negotiations and social communications phase.<\/p>\n<h2>About the deal<\/h2>\n<p>Founded in 2014, THESEO is a leading player in the formulation, production and marketing of disinfectant &amp; hygiene solutions for the agriculture sector (&#8220;livestock biosecurity&#8221;), holding strong position on the poultry and swine segments. Headquartered in Laval (France), THESEO employs 50+ employees in France, Britain, Brazil and Poland, and exports its products worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The EWABO acquisition fulfils three core strategic objectives: to provide direct access to the German market, EWABO being one of the leading biosecurity players in Germany, to leverage the widely known Ewabo brand accross the world, and to tap new R&amp;D and regulatory capabilities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What we did Investec actively supported THESEO and the parent company AVRIL to close this tailored cross-border transaction.
