About the deal<\/h2>\n

Euralis Semences and Caussade Semences Group have signed a merger agreement between the two companies. With a turnover of 350 million euros, the new entity, which aims to become a key European player in seeds thanks to its complementarity, its multi-crops offer, and its network of producers and industrial tools in France and Europe, will join the top 10 Global Field Seed Companies. Euralis Semences and Caussade Semences Group have 8 production sites in France, Romania, Ukraine, Spain, and soon in Russia.<\/p>\n

Caussade Semences Group<\/strong><\/a> is an independent French seeds company which selects, produces and markets multi-species seeds (mainly corn, sunflower, straw cereals, rapeseed, fodder, soya and sorghum). The group generates 145 million euros in sales in 35 countries and relies on the strength of its 630 employees.<\/p>\n

Euralis Semences<\/strong><\/a>, the seeds division of the agricultural group Euralis, is one of the leading European seeds companies creating and producing seeds of corn, sunflower, sorghum, oilseeds rape and soybean. The company has more than 1300 employees and registered a turnover of 210 million euros in 2019.<\/p>\n
