Van Dam <\/strong><\/a>is\u00a0an internationally recognized player\u00a0in the manufacturing, installation and maintenance of fire and blast\u00a0proof doors and walls for the Oil &\u00a0Gas and Defence industries.<\/p>\nInterDam<\/strong>\u00a0is one of Van Dam’s main competitors. It is\u00a0backed by the Dutch private equity firm Value Enhancement Partners B.V. since\u00a02017. The company mainly addresses the Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind Power markets<\/p>\nFounded in 1990, and listed on Euronext Paris,\u00a0Groupe\u00a0Gorg\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0is an independent group that specializes in high-tech industries. The group reported revenues of \u20ac275m in 2019.<\/p>\nFollowing this\u00a0merger, Groupe Gorg\u00e9 will remain a minority shareholder in the new entity, holding 15% of the shares.<\/p>\n
This transaction aims to create the world leader in fire and blast proof doors and walls for people and equipment in extreme environments.<\/p>\n
What we did<\/h2>\n
Investec advised\u00a0Groupe Gorg\u00e9 during\u00a0the entire merger process\u00a0: organization and management of the reciprocal due diligence, valuation analysis and negotiation of the transaction parameters, deal structuring, negotiation of the new shareholders’ agreement and legal documentation.<\/p>\n
