Cementys is a high-growth player in the Testing, Inspection and Certification industry. The company has doubled in revenues every year since 2017 and will generate \u20ac20m in 2020<\/p>\n<p>Cementys designs its own sensors and hardware, markets its proprietary software platform and has emerged as a leading monitoring solutions provider to monitor and manage buildings, infrastructure and critical assets. The company is recognized as a technological leader for IoT, fibre optics and data analytics in the SHM industry.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition of Cementys&nbsp;will&nbsp;provide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socotec.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Socotec Group<\/a>&nbsp;with new infrastructure monitoring technologies and know-how while&nbsp;Cementys will benefit from Socotec&#8217;s global footprint. The joint ambition, through this transaction, is to create the world leader in infrastructure and construction monitoring solutions by 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Socotec is #1 in France for building inspection and a European leader in TIC for the construction and infrastructure sectors. The group registered revenues of \u20ac900m in 2019 serving 200,000 clients.<\/p>\n<h2>What we did<\/h2>\n<p>Investec has accompanied&nbsp;Cementys for&nbsp;2 years, to help Vincent Lamour to structure the company, build his growth plans and to identify&nbsp;the best partner to accelerate growth.<\/p>\n<p>This deal illustrates Investec&#8217;s know-how in supporting entrepreneurs in their growth project and its expertise in tech-enabled services.
