Established in 1981 in Torino, La Tecnika Due specializes in electronic components distribution (active and passive components, connectivity products, electromechanics and accessories). The company teams up not only with OEMs by advising their technical teams during the design phase of their products, but also with electronic component suppliers for whom the company acts as a franchised distributor. La Tenicka Due operates mainly in Northern Italy and relies on a logistics center covering a total of 3,000 sqm located north of Turin. The company reported a turnover of \u20ac24m in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the acquisition of La Tecnika Due in Italy, Syscom Prorep Group starts the scale up of its activities at European level. The combination also offers potential commercial synergies and enables La Tecnika Due to expand its product portfolio and strengthen its market positions in Northern Italy, mainly in Lombardy. The new group reports a turnover of approximately \u20ac60m in 2022 and employs over 70 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The acquisition of La Tecnika Due was financed by (i) bank debt with the support of BPRI and CEIDF, (ii) \u201cRelance\u201d bonds subscribed by Arkea Capital and (iii) and cash-in from the shareholders of Syscom-Prorep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investec advised the shareholders of Syscom-Prorep throughout the entire acquisition process : identification and approach of a limited number of targets, creation of trustful relationships with the shareholders of the targets, preliminary review and valuation of the targets, negotiation of the letter of intent, management of the due diligence process, assistance in the negotiations with the shareholders of La Tecnika Due, and simultaneous negotiations of the financing of the acquisition (debt financing, bonds, equity).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
