Axereal sold its minority equity stake in Services Portuaires S\u00e8tois (SPS) to the company\u2019s 3 other co-owners (Sogena, CAT, Maritime Kuhn)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SPS provides port handling services (consignment, loading, unloading, warehousing, transit and customs clearance) and manages all port personnel (including dockers). It is the incumbent operator for all port services in S\u00e8te<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This transaction is part of the Ax\u00e9r\u00e9al Group’s strategic initiative to divest its port operations in S\u00e8te. The initial phase of this plan was concluded in September 2022, when the port storage facilities (Centre Grains) were sold to Saipol, subsidiary of Avril Group<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sogena is a family-owned shipping services specialist, CAT is a European leader in automotive transport and logistics, Maritime Kuhn is a French leader in logistics and port handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investec has assisted Ax\u00e9r\u00e9al group all along the sale process: designing deal tactics, handling the discussions with external strategic buyers and co-owners, managing the process (incl. managing marketing notes, valuation materials and Q&As, preparing of Ax\u00e9r\u00e9al board meetings, etc.).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
