Investec also assisted the company in parallel on its USD 10 million primary fundraise from HNI Investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current fundraise will enhance the present machining capacity for Azad and help it to (a) increase its offerings in the Aerospace segment (b) take up the manufacturing of products for the Energy segment as well as (c) enhance capabilities to manufacture Small Machined Parts; while facilitating an exit for the existing structured lender, DMI Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Azad<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Azad addresses a large Aerofoils and Engine Components market for the Aerospace and Energy sectors. The offerings by Azad include precision engineering products that are project, machine and life critical. Being the only Indian player in this space and with near monopoly in manufacturing turbine blades, Azad has been the \u201cVendor of choice\u201d for leading OEMs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we did<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With our expertise in marketing niche stories and deep understanding of the sector, we carefully crafted and marketed Azad&#8217;s story to private investors as a differentiated play in the global engineering landscape. We ensured steadfast execution of the deal alongside the company.
