NKD\u2019s strong performance, its ideal position for a broader penetration of pan-European markets and its strong sourcing capabilities form the key strategic rationales for the transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About NKD Group<\/strong><br>NKD is a Germany-based leader in European value apparel retail with over 2,000 stores across 7 European countries with annual sales of close to \u20ac 700m in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Mr Price Group<\/strong><br>Mr Price Group is a JSE-listed, omnichannel apparel and homeware retailer and a market leader in fashion value retail across Southern Africa with annual sales of ~\u20ac 2bn. The Group operates more than 3,000 stores across nine trading divisions and has a market capitalisation of approximately ~ \u20ac 2.8bn (as of 24 November 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we did<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Investec acted as exclusive M&amp;A advisor, lending partner, treasury solutions provider and JSE Sponsor to Mr Price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By combining the deep M&amp;A expertise of our South African and German teams, we were able to offer integrated, on-the-ground advisory across both jurisdictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our strong retail sector insight and relationships in Europe played a critical role in delivering a successful transaction, requiring a local presence in both markets involved in this cross-border
