The transaction strengthens VS\u2019s IT services and digital media business and secures the succession of Speedpoint.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the deal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner of Speedpoint, an educational technology and digital media company headquartered in Darmstadt with a branch in Munich, has sold 100% of its shares to VS. VS is an established German family-owned company specializing in solutions for education, office, and digital media, offering its products and services worldwide, including in the US, the Middle East, and Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its more than 125-year history, VS has evolved from a pure school furniture manufacturer to a leading provider of solutions for the knowledge society, rethinking learning and working spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquisition enables VS to further develop its digital media business and broaden its presence in the areas of hardware, media and room control, and IT services in the office sector.
