About the deal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Investec acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Dorean AG in the transaction with VALU Invest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Gold Partner of Abacus, Dorean AG has built a strong reputation in Switzerland over the past few years as a trusted digitalization partner to accounting services firms and SMEs. The company brings together accounting know how and IT expertise within one interdisciplinary team, guiding clients through consulting, support, training, and hosting, along with the implementation and integration of Abacus solutions. One in five mid-sized accounting services firms in Switzerland now works with Dorean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VALU Invest is an independent, entrepreneurially run investment company that supports mid-sized companies across Switzerland in their long-term development. With its approach and strong, regional network of Swiss SMEs, VALU focuses on service businesses with durable competitive positions and structural growth trends, developing them into niche market leaders alongside their existing management teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of the partnership is to strengthen Dorean’s position as a leading digitalization partner for accounting services firms and SMEs in Switzerland. With the additional backing of VALU, Dorean can further develop its solutions for the accounting services industry in a targeted way and invest in innovation. At the same time, what has proven successful remains in place for clients and employees \u2013 from services and terms to the familiar level of technical and personal support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Investec team advised the owners of Dorean throughout the entire M&A process until the successful completion of the transaction, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
