About the deal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Investec has advised SFG20 and the Building Engineering Services Association (\u201cBESA\u201d) on Bowmark Capital\u2019s (\u201cBowmark\u201d) investment in SFG20 \u2013 the UK industry standard for building maintenance specification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bowmark becomes a significant shareholder in SFG20 alongside BESA. The partnership will support continued investment in SFG20\u2019s data, software and artificial intelligence capabilities, as well as the development of new products and expansion into adjacent segments of the construction market and internationally.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About SFG20<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Established by BESA in 1990, SFG20 provides customisable maintenance guidance through its cutting-edge software platform to facilities managers, building owners, contractors and consultants, helping them keep their assets safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. SFG20\u2019s proprietary database contains more than 1,500 maintenance schedules covering more than 14,000 legislation aligned tasks. In 2024, SFG20 launched its cloud-based software platform, Facilities-iQ, followed in 2025 by SFG20 Mobiliser, an AI-powered module that maps customers’ asset registers to the relevant maintenance schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
