Investec has advised the shareholders of Speer IT on the company\u2019s partnership with Lexar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to have acted as sell-side adviser to the shareholders of Speer IT, a leading Dutch provider of software solutions for fibre networks and cable and pipe information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the deal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following the acquisition of KLIC Software<\/a> and a recapitalisation in January 2026, Speer IT was looking for a partner to support its next phase of development. Lexar brings experience in accelerating growth, international expansion and executing buy-and-build strategies for ambitious software companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, Speer IT and Lexar aim to further strengthen the company\u2019s position in the Netherlands and support its ambition to become a leading European player in fibre-optic network registration and asset management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership combines Speer IT’s strong market position and recurring software revenue base with Lexar’s experience in supporting technology companies and executing buy-and-build strategies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO Kees Jonker will continue to lead the company and remains a significant shareholder.<\/p>\n\n\n
