Through its 24 centres, Certigo trains and certifies more than 65,000 employees for corporates across the construction, industry, energy and temporary staffing sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its catalogue comprises more than 90 programmes, covering handling and lifting, CACES\u00ae, electrical risks, asbestos, work at height and confined spaces. Certigo is a tech-enabled player structured around Planner, its proprietary digital platform which manages scheduling, documentation and renewal deadlines, gives multi-site clients visibility and traceability over their training, and speeds up the integration of acquired centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following a competitive sale process, Certigo is sold to SOCOTEC, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification in construction and infrastructure, with \u20ac1.85bn of consolidated revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The acquisition makes SOCOTEC Formation France\u2019s second-largest player in technical and regulatory training, with 70 centres, and c. \u20ac100m in revenue in 2027. It combines SOCOTEC\u2019s risk expertise and national reach with Certigo\u2019s hands-on safety training, local network and digital platform, to serve SMEs and large corporates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investec advised the shareholders throughout the sale process: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Designing the equity story<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparing marketing materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewing the business plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying and selecting relevant trade buyers and financial investors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coaching the management team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinating the financial vendor due diligence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing buyer due diligences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organising a competitive process <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiating final transaction terms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<section class=\"content--block quoteBlock \">\n    <div class=\"holder\">\n        <div class=\"stories slide-up d-flex\" data-scroll=\"\">\n            \n            <blockquote class=\"stories__desc\" style=\"flex: 0 0 100%;max-width: 100%;\">\n                <span class=\"stories__desc_quote\">\u201c\u201d<\/span>\n\n                                    <div class=\"justified\"><p>Our relationship with Investec was built over several years, well before this transaction.
