Choice of terms and repayment types

You can choose how you repay your Residential mortgage. Your options include:

  • Interest only, capital & interest or a combination of both.
  • Term of up to 35 years with no minimum.

Flexible borrowing amount

The amount you can borrow is flexible and based on your individual circumstances – starting from £250,000. Please ask us for further details.

Borrow up to 85%

You can borrow up to 85% of the property value. We may even consider a higher percentage.

Make overpayments

You also have the freedom to make overpayments.

Residential mortgage requirements

Property location

Investec Private Bank residential mortgages are only available for residential properties in England or Wales.

Residency

The Residential mortgage is primarily available to UK residents.

However, if you live, work or are domiciled overseas, it doesn’t have to be a barrier to applying for a mortgage in the UK. If you call the UK home you can still benefit from the same flexible mortgage service that makes us a fresh alternative.
