Nicola Toyer

Head of Charities, Investec Wealth & Investment

Nicola is responsible for leading the specialist Charities team at Investec. Nicola spent the first ten years of her career at Smith & Williamson where she managed private clients, trusts and pension portfolios, with a specialisation in global mandates.

Nicola is a CFA Charterholder and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. Nicola focuses on managing bespoke multi-asset portfolios for a broad range of charities, with a particular focus on clients who have specific ethical requirements where a direct solution is required.

Alison Taylor

CEO, CAF Bank and CAF Charity Services

Alison joined CAF Bank as Chief Executive Officer in December 2019 and in 2021, she assumed responsibility for CAF’s Charity Services proposition in addition to her role with CAF Bank. She is principally responsible for driving the transformation of the products and services we deliver to UK charities, including leading the Bank’s strategic focus on growing lending to charities and social enterprises, and becoming the preferred banking partner for UK small and medium-sized charities. Prior to joining CAF Bank, Alison spent six years at HSBC, leading various teams across Corporate Banking and Real Estate Finance.

Dr Jimmy Muchechetere

Senior Equity Research Analyst, Investec Wealth & Investment

Jimmy’s focus is on analysing equities in the healthcare and capital goods industries spanning the UK, EU and US. The process involves learning about the fundamental strengths and weaknesses of a business, modelling different scenarios for its prospects and interviewing management, suppliers, competitors and customers.

Jessie Kwok

Senior Investment Director - Charities, Investec Wealth & Investment

Jessie started her career with HSBC in 2007 as an analyst and subsequently moved into discretionary portfolio management, managing multi-asset portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. She continued as an private client investment manager and equity analyst at Cazenove Capital and London & Capital. Before joining Investec, Jessie was the investment lead of a robo-advice project at Fidelity. She is a CFA charterholder.

Tom Holbrook

Investment Director - Charities, Investec Wealth & Investment

Tom is an Investment Director within the Charities Team helping a number of organisations within the not-for-profit sector. Tom liaises directly with clients to understand their needs and build portfolios that help their organisations achieve their longer-term ambitions on behalf of their beneficiaries. Tom has a keen interest in responsible investment, looking at the Environmental, Social and Governance issues affecting our portfolios.

Max Richardson

Senior Director – Wealth Planning, Investec Wealth & Investment

Max is a professional Wealth Planner specialising in investment management and financial planning for high net worth clients. Max has a background in portfolio management and sits on Investec’s Stock Selection and Investment Committees. Max also runs our Investment Academy which contributes to the thought leadership section of our website - Investec Focus.

Danyal Sattar

Chief Executive Officer, Big Issue Invest

Danyal Sattar, formerly the Head of Social Investment at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, joined Big Issue Invest in December of 2018. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the social and ethical investment, charitable and impact investment sectors and sits on a range of expert and advisory panels.

Anna Shiel

Chief Investment Officer, Big Society Capital

Anna joined Big Society Capital in 2012 as a member of the investment team. Since then she has been involved in a range of our investments and projects, with particular experience in social banks, social property funds and community investment. Following Big Society Capital’s investment into Charity Bank in 2014, she has been a member of their Board.

Anna leads Big Society Capital's work in social and affordable housing, supporting a system that creates more safe, secure, and affordable homes for everyone to access regardless of their circumstances.

Bettina Reinboth

Director of Human Rights and Social Issues, PRI

Bettina joined the PRI in August 2016. She is responsible for leading a team with deep expertise in social issues and their relevance to companies, investors and financial markets. She overseas strategic initiatives on social themes and the thought leadership in the area- shaping research, analysis, investor guidance and policy guidance for investors across topics including human rights, labour practices, inequality, social dimensions of climate strategies, and diversity to name a few.

Jonathan Jenkins

Chief Executive Officer, London’s Air Ambulance

After a distinguished career in the city, Jonathan comes to London’s Air Ambulance from Social Investment Business, where he dealt with charity and social enterprise investment as the company’s CEO. He has a lifelong commitment to charity work, and has served as trustee for a number of third sector organisations.
