At Investec, we aim to offer our clients the benefits of a close-knit, local wealth management team as well as the resources of a global banking business. We have 14 regional offices across the UK so that the majority of our clients can enjoy a face-to-face relationship with someone in their area.

We are extremely dedicated to our client relationships, but we’re equally committed to our role in our local communities. We believe in giving back and making a meaningful contribution. It’s part of our organisation’s purpose: to create enduring worth – living in society, not off it.

Each of our offices has relationships with local organisations that share the same spirit as our own. One example is the MAC, Belfast. The Metropolitan Art Centre (MAC) is an award-winning venue and cultural hub that offers an eclectic programme of visual art, theatre, dance, and much more. It aims to be the most accessible art hub in the city and one that exists for everyone, with the motto: “Always for the many, never the few.”

That’s why we’re proud to announce that Investec Belfast is now a Platinum Friend of the MAC. We’ll be supporting the art centre’s fantastic work in the community and helping them continue to offer affordable ticket prices, subsidised travel for school groups, and outreach work, which we know is so important to give everyone equal access to the arts.

We’ll also be commissioning artists with links to the MAC to provide work for our new headquarters at City Quays 3.

Hugh Mulholland, Creative Director of Visual Arts at The MAC said:

“The MAC is about making Northern Ireland a better place by creating space for people to imagine, enjoy, participate in and create art and in doing this we know we are contributing to helping Northern Ireland achieve its full potential.

This aim we know is shared by Investec who, like the MAC, are deeply invested in Northern Ireland and in building relationships within all our communities, families, visitors, and clients recognising and supporting the potential that exists in all of us, whether that is in business or the arts.

We understand that Northern Ireland’s economic success is intrinsically linked to positive social change, and we know that the alignment of both our organisations will help us realise our shared ambitions.

We want to share our joy of art and our pride in local artists with Investec through our Art Leasing scheme which will see contemporary art place within your work environment making your workspace as inspiring and creative as ours!”

In our many years in Belfast, we’ve seen the city grow, change, and regenerate. We’re delighted that we have the opportunity not just to watch the city flourish but to actively contribute to its prosperity. We hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
