About me

As a Paraplanner here in the Cheltenham office my primary job is to support the South West regional Financial Planning team. I work alongside the Planners to conduct detailed research, review clients’ financial situations and complete technical reports. The team works closely with clients’ Investment Managers, Accountants and Solicitors to help them form a financial plan which meets their objectives. I liaise with all those involved from the start of our client’s Investec journey to the point that the plan is formed and beyond. I am also here to help clients with any administration queries should they need my assistance and to provide a primary point of contact for the team.

Background/Experience

My first role at Investec was secretarial so I have a good knowledge of the overall process that clients go through in order to reach their end goal. Having this previous experience is really helpful when discussing next steps with clients. In terms of qualifications, I have obtained the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and I am now working towards achieving Chartered status. Studying for these qualifications is beneficial for my every day work and writing technical reports. These qualifications have helped me build a strong understanding of a wide range of financial planning topics.

My interests

When I am not at work I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible, whether that is being active or sitting and watching the world go by. I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, primarily on foot with my dog.
