About me

I am part of a team of investment managers solely dedicated to investing in portfolios of equities listed on AIM (Alternative Investment Market) for clients across the business. The primary objective of our AIM IHT portfolios is to mitigate inheritance tax liabilities for investors, with a focus on reducing volatility whilst still generating an attractive investment return. We manage over 2,000 individual client portfolios each with a position in between 20-40 companies.

Background/Experience

Shortly after graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Accountancy and Finance, I started working in the financial services industry. I spent several years working in operations, first at Tilney before moving to Investec in 2014. I joined the AIM team in 2017 where I had the opportunity to develop my skills in portfolio management before transitioning to investment management to make better use of my degree. I have completed the Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and am a Chartered Member of the CISI.

My interests

Having recently become a dad for the first time I am hugely enjoying spending time at home with my family. I am also a music lover having been a guitarist for many years, and enjoy getting stuck into a good book, film or TV series.
