About me
I offer a broad and holistic advice led service to my clients. As an Investment Manager, I have many years’ experience managing investment portfolios. Over and above that, I am a client’s first port of call with regard to any financial question or query they may have. I work closely with my colleagues to offer a comprehensive service covering all financial planning and investment management services for clients and their families. I focus on discretionary investment management and aim to build long term relationships with clients ensuring they feel they have a trusted advisor for all financial matters.
Background/Experience
I have over 30 years’ experience, almost exclusively within Investec. I joined the original Sheppards business which amalgamated with other historic stockbroking houses to form what is now known as Investec Wealth & Investment. In addition to being qualified to manage client relationships and investment portfolios, I am also responsible for managing a team of Investment Managers together with their support staff. I enjoy leading a successful team of talented and experienced mangers but I am also committed to helping bring on the next generation of talent within our business. As such I am involved with developing talent and supporting the career paths of junior colleagues across our Wealth business.
My interests
I am a keen cook and regularly entertain and host friends and family. I am an active gym goer and a yoga convert. That aside, I enjoy travelling, learning about new cultures and food and particularly enjoy all that Southern Africa and the Indian sub-Continent have to offer.
