About me

I work as part of team alongside Michele Rogers, divisional director, and Robert Doughton, senior investment director, managing client investment portfolios. This involves day to day management of client portfolios, preparation of investment reports and meeting with clients to review their portfolio's as well as their general and financial affairs. These range from pensions, offshore bonds, charities, corporate accounts, taxable and ISA portfolios.

Background/Experience

Since graduating in 2012 from Leeds University with a BSc (Hons) in Theoretical Physics, I gained two years experience working in precision engineering before moving into finance in the wealth arm of Lloyds Bank. I joined Investec as an investment assistant with only IMC 1 (which I undertook at Lloyds) and went on to complete the IMC 2, the IAD securities paper and then the CISI Diploma in wealth management to became a qualified Chartered Wealth Manager. I have a strong background in mathematics, problem solving and technical analysis from my academic background which I have used as a base to build my financial and investment knowledge and become an fully qualified investment manager.

My interests

I greatly enjoyed rowing at University and have since tried to stay fit and take advantage of the outdoors that Devon has to offer going for runs, cycles and exploring Dartmoor. Outside of that my main passion would be traveling, exploring and learning about new countries and cultures.
