As manager of the Belfast discretionary investment team I ensure we work together to provide an investment portfolio catered to a client's investment needs, including any personal bias or restrictions they may have. I also manage multi-asset portfolios on behalf of private clients, charities, pension funds, trusts, offshore bonds and self-invested pension funds. I am a member of our group Stock Selection Committee and I am actively involved in the office's corporate volunteering scheme.
Before joining Investec in 2000 I worked for the West Yorkshire Pension Fund for six years, with the final three as assistant UK investment manager, responsible for various sectors in the UK market including technology, industrials and utilities. I am a qualified accountant (FCCA) and a fully qualified Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. I am also an active member in the local Lean In `Women in Finance' circle helping to promote financial services as a career option for all. I graduated from Bradford University with a BSc (Hons) in 1993.
I enjoy free time with my children, cycling and occasionally (weather dependent) running.
