I am the Head of the Belfast office and I also manage portfolios for private clients, trusts, SIPP’s, charities and corporate entities. This involves working closely alongside other professionals, including solicitors, accountants and financial advisers, to build and implement bespoke investment strategies for our clients.
I began my career at Barclays Stockbrokers in Glasgow through an undergraduate placement scheme and, on graduation, obtained a position with Stirling Hendry (now Brewin Dolphin) in Scotland. I moved home to Northern Ireland in 1999 and spent nine years with Cunningham Coates Stockbrokers and seven years with Quilter before joining Investec Wealth & Investment in June 2015.
I’m a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. I was a member of the Belfast branch of the Securities Institute Committee for eight years and held the position of Secretary in 2004/2005.
I serve as a Non-Executive Director for a local charity.
