About me

My priority is to understand my clients’ current situation, what they are looking to achieve from their investments, the level of risk they are comfortable taking and their investment time frame, in order to construct and actively manage a portfolio of investments to help achieve their financial goals. I predominantly specialise in bespoke discretionary portfolio management for private clients, corporate clients, trusts, pensions and charities. I work closely with both our in-house financial planners and external financial advisers, solicitors and accountants, utilising tax efficient options such as ISAs, SIPPs, Bonds and IHT planning portfolios, where appropriate, as part of an overall wealth management strategy.      

Background/Experience

With over three decades of experience in financial services I have formed close working relationships with my clients and often multiple generations of the same family. I joined the investment management industry after University, starting my career within the financial services division of Bank of Ireland, Belfast before moving to my current role with Investec in 2006. I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager. I hold the CII Financial Planning Certificate, the CII Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Diploma. I am also Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, Northern Ireland Regional Committee and a member of Women in Business NI.  

My interests

Outside of work I enjoy gardening, travelling and spending time with my husband, daughters and other family and friends. I also enjoy watching some sports including Ulster and Irish rugby.
