I am responsible for leading the specialist Charities team at Investec. I focus on managing bespoke multi-asset portfolios for a broad range of charities, with a particular focus on clients who have specific ethical requirements where a direct solution is required. I also sit on the firm’s International Stock Committee which makes recommendations on direct overseas equities for inclusion in client portfolios.
I spent the first ten years of my career at Smith & Williamson where I managed private clients, trusts and pension portfolios, with a specialisation in global mandates. I am a CFA Charterholder and hold the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. I am also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and hold a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
My main interests revolve around food and wine. I enjoy cooking, trying new restaurants and learning about wine, although I am definitely not an expert. I love to travel and am also a keen skier who occasionally dabbles in snowboarding.
