I lead a team of three investment specialists who manage assets for a wide range of clients including private individuals, personal pension schemes, off-shore bonds, charities and some company accounts. A large part of my business comes via referrals from highly experienced independent financial advisers.
I began my investment management career in the City in 1972, and became a member of the Stock Exchange in the early 1980s. I was an Executive Director of Christows, which became Williams de Broё and eventually Investec), where I’ve headed both the Exeter and London offices.
I’m a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
I hold a commercial pilot’s licence and was once an instructor, although I now fly my 1941 Tiger Moth for pleasure. I’m also a keen horse rider and have completed several endurance rides.
