About me

I manage investment portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and corporate entities. This involves working closely with other professionals, such as solicitors, accountants and financial advisers, to build bespoke investment strategies.

Putting my clients' best interests first is at the heart of everything I do and is central to my decision-making process.

Background/Experience

I have several years' experience managing investment portfolios for a broad range of clients, using a bespoke approach that can add considerable value over the longer term. I began my career with Cunningham Coates Stockbrokers in Belfast in 2007, spending 12 years with the company, and joined Investec in 2019 as an investment director.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduated from Ulster University with a degree in business, finance & investment
  • Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (FCSI)

 

My interests

I like exploring the world and its different cultures whenever I have the opportunity. More regularly, I enjoy sports immensely, particularly football, rugby and cricket, and I am on the board of a local charity, the John Hewitt Society, which provides opportunities for individuals across Northern Ireland to explore issues of difference and identity through literature and creative writing.
