Along with two colleagues, I look after investment portfolios for private individuals, primarily on a discretionary basis.

Background/Experience

I entered the industry in 1986 after graduating from St Andrew’s University. After 10 years at Greig Middleton, I joined the Glasgow office of BWD Rensburg (now Investec) as an investment manager before being appointed a director in 2000.

Qualifications

I’m a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).

My interests

I play golf and have a black belt in karate.
