About me

I manage investment portfolios on behalf of private individuals, IFAs, trusts, personal pensions and small charities. Alongside traditional investment portfolios, I have a keen interest in Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) and Thematic Investment solutions.

Background/Experience

After graduating from Exeter University in 2003, I served as an Army Officer in The Royal Green Jackets and The Rifles before joining the industry in 2009. Prior to joining Investec, I worked in London with Kleinwort Benson (now Kleinwort Hambros). I hold a BA (Hons) Politics degree. I am also a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). I have completed the CISI’s Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Financial Planning Diploma units covering tax, pensions and financial protection. I also hold the Investment Management Certificate.

My interests

I am married with two children. When time permits, I enjoy skiing, cycling, country pursuits and visiting Cornwall. Most weekends you will find me operating various pieces of garden machinery and digging holes for my wife to pursue our quest for vegetable self-sufficiency.
