Coronavirus update from Investec Wealth & Investment
Our employees continue to successfully work from home and have been doing so for some time now. Please continue to contact your investment manager including any queries you may have relating to your specific portfolio(s), such as the current value. You can contact them either on your usual contact number or via email and they will be happy to deal with your questions or requests as normal.
Given the circumstances, we would greatly appreciate your help during this time by undertaking, where possible, the following changes:
- If you wish to forward monies to us we encourage you to make electronic payments, rather than cheque payments. Please quote your client account number as a reference and it would be helpful if you could alert your Investment Manager once payment has been made. Our bank details are available here.
- During this period we can only accept cheques in the post as a last resort. If there is no alternative but to send a cheque we request that you send this directly to our Liverpool office at the following address 100 Old Hall Street, Liverpool L3 9AB again with your IW&I reference number clearly quoted.
- All forms and payment instructions should where possible be scanned and emailed to your investment manager where they will be able to take the appropriate action. Please do not send share certificates to us at this time without speaking to your Investment Manager beforehand.
- Any payments from your account which are either regular or one off requests will continue to be dealt with in the usual manner. However we will be looking to amend any payments that are currently facilitated by cheque to electronic and we will contact you in relation to that shortly.
While criminals continue to take advantage of the situation our Investec experts provide valuable insight to keep you and your business safe from financial fraud and cybercrime. You can click here to read more.
