Investec Derby Festival 2018

Derby Day, Saturday 2 June

Investec Derby

The world's greatest flat race

The Investec Derby Festival, forged from passion, energy and stamina, stands out in our prestigious sponsorship portfolio. 2018 marks our tenth year as title sponsor: we look forward to welcoming you to our Out of the Ordinary Derby Festival.

An event like no other

Derby Day has served as one of the highlights of the British social calendar for 239 years. An electric atmosphere and  a day of world-class racing, culminating in Britain's richest horse race, the Investec Derby, make this an event like no other.

World-class racing

Investec hospitality opens to our guests in the Duchess Stand at 11.30. The day's first race, the Investec Private Banking Stakes, starts at 14.00, and the Investec Derby itself is at 16.30. A full list of race times is below.

What to wear

Ladies do not have to wear a hat or fascinator, but the majority choose to. Gentlemen are asked to wear a jacket, collar and tie. Morning suits are encouraged but are not essential. For the avoidance of doubt, denim, sportswear and trainers are not acceptable.
