Investec Private Client Lending hosts an Economy and Property Evening

The Investec Ireland Private Client Lending team, in association with the Irish International Business Network, hosted an Economy and Property Evening in London on Wednesday, 17 October.

The event, held exclusively for 100 Irish diaspora based in London, focused on ways Investec enables those living abroad to purchase property in Ireland along with outlining the financial planning services that it offers to those returning home. 
 
The evening was opened by Investec Ireland’s Ciarán Leddy along with Ailbhe Mullen, Executive Director of the Irish International Business Network. This was followed by a presentation from Philip O’Sullivan, Chief Economist of Investec Ireland, who outlined the drivers behind the country’s strong growth and the implications from this for the residential property market. 
 
Andrew Fahy, Head of Tax & Financial Planning, discussed ways in which Investec Wealth & Investment assist clients who are relocating to Ireland. Andrew emphasised the importance of having a robust investment and financial plan, and his presentation focussed on Succession Planning, Retirement Planning, Investments for Non-Doms and Ireland’s Special Assignee Relief Programme.
 
Prior to a panel discussion Ciarán Leddy, a Relationship Manager with the Private Client Lending team, gave an overview of the high-touch and client-centric service that Investec offers to both its Irish resident and non-resident clients. This revolves around providing a tailored solution to meet client needs including mortgage lending on both family homes and investment properties. The expert care offered by the team and its speedy delivery of services ensures that Investec is a strong competitor in this area of the market.
