November, 2020 - Investec Power & Infrastructure Finance North America acted as Sole Bookrunner, Coordinating Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for Cypress Creek Renewables (“Cypress Creek”) on a seven-year, $200-million debt financing for the holding company that owns Cypress Creek’s 1.6 GW portfolio of operating solar energy projects. The facility finances a portfolio comprised of more than 200 solar and storage projects across 13 states.

The Cypress Creek financing illustrates our ability to structure bespoke solutions for clients. We started with a fresh palette and came up with a tailored solution that was well-received by the market. The market is wide open for well-priced, well-structured ESG class assets across all levels of the capital stack from a variety of lenders. We oversubscribed the financing from a combination of both commercial banks and institutional investors that directly demonstrates this appetite.

September, 2020 - Investec Power & Infrastructure Finance North America acted as Sole Bookrunner, Coordinating Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for WhiteWater Midstream (“WhiteWater”) on a five-year, $133-million HoldCo debt financing for the Whistler project, an approximately 500 mile, intra-state pipeline connecting the Permian Basin and the Agua Dulce hub, providing direct access to the premium South Texas markets as well as the LNG and Mexican export hubs.

Investec leveraged its extensive lender network, structuring capabilities and strong relationships to run a competitive process which allowed WhiteWater to achieve an all-in weighted average cost of debt that was below the existing senior-secured bond tranche.

August, 2019 - Investec Power & Infrastructure Finance North America acted as Sole Bookrunner, Coordinating Lead Arranger and Administrative Agent for Caithness Energy (“Caithness”) on a construction plus five-year, $1.08 billion senior-secured debt financing, to fund the construction of a 1,850 MW state of the art natural gas-fired combined cycle facility located in Guernsey, Ohio.

As one of the largest gas-fired transaction in North America in recent years, Investec’s wide syndication reach and ability to locate pockets of demand in both the US and international lending markets, was integral to reaching a successful financial closing for Caithness.
