‘Art doesn’t have to be expensive,’ says Maps Maponyane, Investec Private Banking brand ambassador. ‘There’s a piece of art out there for everyone at every price level.’
From his home, Maps shows you some of his favourite pieces by some of the most talented, idiosyncratic and inspiring South African artists – like Banele Khoza, Lebohang Motaung, Louise Kritzinger and Chris Valentine.
For Maps, art is a passion and he hopes he can ignite a similar passion in others. ‘Find something that resonates with you on a personal level,’ he advises.
The Investec Cape Town Art Fair is hosted annually in the Mother City.
