Discretionary Segregated Mandates

The Investec Wealth & Investment segregated portfolios encompass a range of different mandates across various asset classes and risk profiles. Each mandate targets specific objectives and investment strategies.
Equity mandates
-
Long Term Growth Portfolio
Our flagship equity mandate is positioned to deliver capital and income growth over the medium to long term through investing in JSE-listed equities. The portfolio includes existing blue chip companies, emerging growth companies, and turnaround opportunities or cyclical shares at favourable valuations. We also offer a long-term growth strategy mandate including offshore opportunities through our World Axis Core Fund.

Opportunities Portfolio
This is an unconstrained mandate, which may elect to invest in both Top 40 blue chip counters as well as small and mid-cap shares. Smaller shares are evaluated with potential returns balanced against liquidity. Each eligible security is assessed on a forward-looking metric encompassing its earnings estimate. This is done on a rolling two year forward basis, whilst applying an appropriate exit price earnings multiple, based on expectations of the trajectory of the margin cycle, all taking into account both company and industry specifics.

Progressive Yield Portfolio
