2. When does the competition run?
The competition runs in South Africa from 13 May 2019 to 31 May 2019.
3. How do you enter this competition?
To enter this competition, you need to subscribe to the Ahead of the curve newsletter, share a photo of your office outfit of the day on Twitter or Instagram, tag @Investec and use the #AheadOfTheCurve hashtag in your post. No refund may be claimed from Investec for expenses related to the use of an Internet connection for the purpose of participating in the competition.
Investec shall not be responsible for those entries that are not received for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to communications or network failures.
4. Who can enter this competition?
You must be a natural person resident in the Republic of South Africa and 18 years or older.
The competition is not open to Investec directors, partners, employees, agents or contractors or their immediate family members.
Entrants will only be allowed one entry.
5. What is the Prize?
The prize is provided by Investec and will be awarded to the winner.
There are two prizes to be awarded to one winner (and an additional "spot" prize will be given to additional winner chosen on social media)
The prize includes a R2 500 (two thousand five hundred rand only) shopping voucher and a M.A.C product hamper to the value of R3 225, as well as a complimentary M.A.C makeup consultation*.
The "spot" prize is a Decorum box, courtesy of Decorum Stylists.
The prize/s is not transferrable and may not be deferred, changed or redeemed for cash or any other item.
6. Winners
Winners will be selected through a random draw which will take place on 3 June 2019. We will announce the winner on applicable social media platforms by 7 June 2019. Should you be the winner, you will need to provide us with your cell phone number following the announcement.
The draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into with an entrant other than with the winner.
If the winner cannot be contacted such winner will forfeit his/her prize and Investec reserves the right to select a new winner by way of another draw.
Once the winner has been contacted by Investec, the winner will have 2 days within which to accept the prize. If the winner does not accept the prize he/she will forfeit the prize. Investec reserves the right to select a new winner by way of another draw.
Investec will communicate the winner's name in its publications and may post photographs of the prize winner, as long as the prize winner has not expressly elected to decline such publications.
7. General
Investec reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition or to withdraw the competition at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
These terms and conditions are governed by South African law. The competition is regulated by the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (the “CPA“). It is not intended that any provision of these terms and conditions contravene any provision of the CPA and therefore all provisions of these terms and conditions must be treated as being qualified, if necessary, to ensure that the provisions of the CPA are complied with.
By entering this competition, you agree to all these competition terms and conditions without exception.
All entrants and prize winners hereby indemnify Investec and its agents, against any/all claims for any injury, loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition.
