This year’s Commercial Finance Awards focussed on recognising the successes of the asset finance industry, championing the leaders who’ve helped shape the sector and the firms and people who are continually raising the bar in terms of customer service and satisfaction. Our aim is to continue providing a reliable and sustainable lending offering, coupled with excellent levels of customer service.

We’re proud that this has been recognised at the 2017 Commercial Finance Awards where we won the Best Commercial Lender award.

The judges remarked that the award recognised that we’ve maintained historically strong service levels and that our good reputation for engaging well with our customers is recognised amongst brokers. This is something we’ve worked hard for.

This is how we do it

At Investec Asset Finance, we’ve consistently provided funding for a broad range of assets, with lending starting from £1k and going beyond £10m, since we launched in 2006. Eleven years on and our commitment to the market remains firm and we aim to offer financing solutions that are sustainable for our brokers, and by extension, their customers.

We work hard to maintain a high standard of service, and we do this by focussing on the things that really matter. It’s great to see through this year’s broker survey, that our customers appreciate our commitment to the basics – speed of credit decisions and pay-outs. This crucially also strengthens the relationships we have with our partners, as they know they can rely on us. It was good to see that our relationships scored equally highly in our annual survey.

The combination of a considered and flexible product offering, and a practical, but excellent level of customer service, has paid off. The judges noted our “outstanding” financial performance, evidenced by our year-on-year growth of 11% this year and SME lending up by 35%.

This award highlights our continued efforts to better ourselves as a business. We’re proud to be recognised for this by our partners and the wider asset finance community and we look forward to 2018, to continue on our growth journey, alongside our brokers.
