Peter Mansfield
Peter has 25 years experience in infrastructure project finance as a lender, advisor and developer. Prior to joining Investec he was a Director in the Utilities, Transport & Infrastructure team at Rothschild and before that worked in a variety of senior corporate and project finance roles at Lend Lease.
Peter has experience across a broad range of infrastructure sub-sectors and a wide array of financing instruments. He has advised on or arranged project finance for conventional and renewable power generation projects, pipelines, transmission lines, water treatment plants, ports, airports, railways, toll roads and PPP/PFIs. His experience includes senior bank debt, institutional lending, subordinated finance, fund finance, capital markets instruments, export credit finance, structured finance and equity.
Notable transactions Peter has been involved in include Queensland Schools PPP, Royal Adelaide Hospital PPP, Collgar Wind Farm, DCT Gdansk Container Terminal, Perth Airport, Gold Coast University Hospital Car Park, and Prospect Water Filtration Plant.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Economics (Actuarial Studies) from Macquarie University, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Energy Studies) from Murdoch University and has qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. He sits on the Project Finance sub-committee of the Asia Pacific Loan Markets Association and the Council of the Australian branch of the International Project Finance Association.
