King’s Cross: Vibrant residential and retail

Investec Mortgage Intermediaries Team

The launch of Coal Drops Yard is the latest chapter in the extraordinary regeneration of London’s King’s Cross, led by property developer Argent. Here are the facts and stats behind the commercial and residential investment opportunities in what was once among the capital’s most notorious locales.

Coal Drops Yard is only one part of the multibillion-pound project, which is bringing more jobs, houses and investment – along with community and office spaces – to King’s Cross, establishing this part of north London as the capital’s most vibrant and innovative district. Promising ‘a new experience in shopping’, Coal Drops Yard will be home to around 50 new stores, restaurants, cafés and bars.
