Investec Padel Champions Cup concludes its inaugural season in the Netherlands
Across four events, the Investec Padel Champions Cup brought together a broad cross-section of the Dutch private equity community, with participation spanning partners, investment professionals and even their clients from 24 firms.
The inaugural season has now concluded, having created an Out of the Ordinary environment for competition and relationship-building. Over the course of the series, 76 professionals competed in 172 matches.
Winners of the day
The fourth and final event of the Investec Padel Champions Cup brought the inaugural season to a close, with impressive matches across both leagues.
In the Advanced League, Standard Capital claimed victory on the day with a 6–3 win over Committed Capital in the final. However, consistent results throughout the season saw FIELDS Group secure the overall league title, with Vendis Capital finishing as runners-up.
In the Beginners League, Nimbus Investments capped off an impressive campaign by defeating Holland Capital 7–2 in the final. The result also confirmed Nimbus as overall champions for the season, with Holland Capital taking second place.
The finals reflected what had been seen throughout the series: high energy, strong participation and consistently competitive fixtures across all four events.

A growing community around the series
The inaugural Investec Padel Champions Cup brought together a broad cross-section of the Dutch private equity community, with participation spanning partners, investment professionals and even their clients. Across the season, 24 firms and 76 professionals took part, competing in 172 matches and accumulating more than 57 hours of padel.
We were particularly pleased to see many participants return throughout the series, helping to build a strong sense of continuity from event to event. While 20 bottles of champagne were awarded along the way, the tournament’s greatest success was the opportunity it created for professionals from across the industry to connect in a different setting. Across four events, participants strengthened existing relationships, forged new connections and combined networking with healthy competitiveness on court.
Looking ahead
At Investec, we believe strong business is built on strong relationships. The Champions Cup reflects our commitment to creating Out of the Ordinary experiences that bring clients, partners, and the wider private equity community together.
