Kick-off event on 24 September 2026

With “Makers & Shakers”, Investec Advisory aims to bring together a select group of entrepreneurs, start-up founders and C-level decision-makers from the technology, smart industrials and industrial services sectors in an engaging format. The kick-off event took place on 24 September 2026 at QX Manor in Frankfurt am Main.

Under the title “Smart Industrials: Successfully Navigating Strategic Transformation”, around 30 guests discussed how industrial convergence can be strategically shaped and what role capital allocation, M&A and in-house investments play in this process. Keynote speeches by Christoph Ritzkat (CEO, Kieback&Peter) and Dr Andreas Widl (CEO, SAMSON AG) provided the framework for the discussion, complemented by the perspective of Philipp Unterhalt (CEO, Skillaris). Matthias Odrobina (Managing Director, Investec Advisory Germany) hosted the evening.

The evening was deliberately designed to encourage dialogue: rather than a conference programme, it featured peer-to-peer exchanges amongst decision-makers facing similar strategic choices.
